Why Swap
Paper towels have become a way of life for lots of us, with around 80 rolls being used per person, per year – wow! Producing all that paper consumes a lot of resources. In fact, to make one ton of paper towels, 17 trees are cut down and 20,000 gallons of water consumed. 51,000 trees are cut down to meet the daily demand for single-use paper towels. On top of that, most paper towels come packaged in disposable plastic too!

How to care for them
Wash on cool and hang to dry. It is normal for this fabric to shrink up to 15% upon first wash. When you think they have reached the end, cut up into scraps and put into the compost bin.
